Ortt, Maziarz indicted on campaign finance charges

Source: ABC

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - State Senator Robert Ortt and former Senator George Maziarz have been indicted by an Albany Grand Jury on felony election law violations, in connection to political campaign donations.

The indictments follow an investigation by the State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman into Senator Ortt, Maziarz, and former Niagara County Republican Chairman Henry Wojtaszek.

Andrea Bozek, a spokesperson for Ortt confirms the Senator has been indicted on three felony counts of offering a false instrument for filing.

Brown confirmed that Wojtaszek pleaded guilty today in Albany to a misdemeanor election law violation relating to campaign filings that were made in 2012-13. The campaign filings involved the labeling of contributions that were paid to subcontractors, he said.

And earlier this week the former chairman of the Colorado Republican Party was charged with forgery and voter fraud for forging and using his ex-wife’s* mail-in ballot.

This Reich-wing weasel once claimed on his radio show: "...every case of voter fraud I can remember in my lifetime was committed by Democrats.”

This is another one for my "Voter Fraud" file I keep. A file that shows, almost exclusively, that real voter fraud is organized and done - by Republicans.

* Ex-wife, you say? (Yes; divorced after 9-months! He must be a real prize.) But...but...but..."family values"? "Sanctity of marriage"? WTF...?
