EPA chief Scott Pruitt says carbon dioxide is not a primary contributor to global warming

Source: CNBC

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt said Thursday he does not believe carbon dioxide is a primary contributor to global warming.

"I think that measuring with precision human activity on the climate is something very challenging to do and there's tremendous disagreement about the degree of impact, so no, I would not agree that it's a primary contributor to the global warming that we see ," he told CNBC's "Squawk Box."

"But we don't know that yet ... We need to continue the debate and continue the review and the analysis," he added.

Pruitt's view is at odds with the opinion of NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Tobacco induced lung damage that leads to cancer can also come from radioactive isotopes from the tobacco combustion process. Some studies in the past have suggested that additives in the curing process can be factors.

But we're discussing our friend Mr. Pruitt, who, by his equivocating, conveys to us that he really doesn't know about the science of climate change and atmospheric pollution. If there is ONE knucklehead scientist out of thousands who tells us fallacies about climate change, Pruitt will use that one person as justification to call the issue debatable. That's because 1. He's intellectually lazy, and 2. He's protecting polluters.

Gravity is only a theory. Maybe we should "continue the debate and continue the review and analysis" on that, too. For starters, just to see if the predictions of pro-gravity scientists can be consistently replicated, Pruitt could repeatedly drop a brick on his skull.

Me: Carbon as a greenhouse gas is not debatable. He can have the opinion that its not, but he's denying SCIENTIFIC FACT. Good luck with that Scott, you MORAN!

Here's the important part. He's the captain of our environmental ship. His willful ignorance is going to get people killed.

Long after every one of those lying bastards in the Trump admininstration are dead and buried, their legacy will live on through the suffering, humanitarian crises, mass extinction of species and deaths of millions of people around the world as our climate falls apart around us.

This is the reason I can't forgive anyone who voted for Trump, ever. The last election was literally humanity's LAST SHOT at holding climate change to a level slightly below completely catastrophic for human civilization and the planet's ecosystems.

We failed.
