The man who wrote the article you link to states elsewhere Israel was a Soviet ally during the Cold War, suggests most anti-Israel statements on blogs are actually by 'New World Order' operatives trying to discredit opposition to Israel, and in general seems to have the whole 'hidden hand of the Jew' psychosis in flamboyant form. The 'report' by Reuters seems to be simply a report Iran claimed this occurred; there remains no other source for the story than an Iranian government press report. His comments seem to suggest the 'attack' on Sec. Clinton was carried out by the Israeli government, to rouse the U.S. to attack Iran....

If you read that carefully, you realize that the US is said to have recognized Israel "de facto" but the USSR was the first country to vote in favor of the Parition of Israel and Palestine.

That's where the idea comes from. It's not entirely kooky.

I am a huge supporter of Mrs. Clinton and am glad she is ok.
