George Zimmerman apologizes in interview with Sean Hannity

Asked Wednesday night if he'd do anything differently the night he came face-to-face with Trayvon Martin and fatally shot the 17-year-old, Neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman told a national television audience, no.

"I feel like it was all God's plans," he told Sean Hannity on Fox News in his first television interview since the shooting.

Zimmerman apologized again to Trayvon's parents, calling the shooting a tragedy.

"I would tell them that again I'm sorry. I don't have, my wife and I don't have any children. … I am sorry that they buried their child. I can't imagine what it must feel like, and I pray for them daily," he said.

If you look at his life, he is the product of our fucked up society. An urge to be a cop.. to be accepeted by a society where his identity is not clear. So, he assumes an identity where he is accepted, and acts it out.

This does not excuse him at all.

I just don't think he is lying that he is sorry.

But it is not about killing someone...it is about him having to take responsibility for it.
Sociopaths have no feelings for anything but himself and what they own and control. He is sorry that he can't get away with it.

Hannity used to have Justin Volpe and his family on the show often create sympathy for him, and he would demonize Louima as "Lyin' Louie."
Of course, Volpe ended up pleading guilty and Hannity never mentioned the story again or apologized to Louima.
It was Sean's "Tawana Brawley moment" and should always be brought up when he wades into cases like this.
