2. NY/NJ Port Authority is run like a private fiefdom.

I have a hunch that the Feds are currently working on something to do with wholesale corruption within the PA...industry scuttlebut.

6. It use to be tolls were temporary until the road/bridge, etc was paid off

Now there is no end. For example the Toll Roads in Orange County, CA go on forever and there is no end in sight. In fact, they are raising the tolls.

Ever wonder where the term "Robber Baron" comes from? it comes from medieval French barons who extorted tolls from merchants.
