The head of the nation’s largest police union took a slap at GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump on Wednesday for questioning the abilities of a female police officer who shot and killed an unarmed black man in Tulsa, Politico is reporting.

Five days after the 330,000 member Fraternal Order of Police endorsed the Republican candidate, the head of the union expressed dismay that Trump suggested that Tulsa Police Officer Betty Shelby may have “choked” when she shot and killed unarmed Terence Crutcher last Friday.

Speaking at church rally in Cleveland, Trump was asked about the shooting and gave, for the usually bombastic candidate, what could be considered a thoughtful answer.

“Now, did she get scared? Was she choking? What happened? But maybe people like that, people that choke, people that do that, maybe they can’t be doing what they’re doing, okay? They can’t be doing what they’re doing,” Trump remarked...............................

He was quick to say maybe she choked. Apparently a favorite word of his. But I wondered why he spoke so harshly since he was talking about a female cop. He is walking a fine line here trying to serve all the masters. Police officers, black lives matter, women, his racist followers.....no way to make them all happy so I was surprised he went to the idea that she "choked". Especially since he needs women to vote for him, but he can't afford to lose any African American votes. So this whole situation is full of land mines that could trip him up....especially since he really has no clue.
