Hillary Clinton Regains Momentum Against Donald Trump: Poll

Source: NBC News

Back on the campaign trail after being diagnosed with pneumonia and a subsequent break from campaigning, Hillary Clinton plugged her leaking lead against Donald Trump, according to this week's NBC News|SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking Poll.

She now enjoys 50 percent support among likely voters and Trump has 45 percent support.

As the first votes have already been cast via absentee and early voting in several states across the country, the NBC News|SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking Poll will now report out results using a likely voter screen instead of just registered voters. Previously, we reported out results among respondents who indicated they were registered to vote.

The race looks slightly narrower among likely voters than it does among all registered voters in a two-way match up. Among likely voters, 50 percent support Clinton and 45 percent support Trump. Among registered voters, she holds a 6-point lead over Trump — 49 percent to 43 percent. Last week, Clinton led Trump by 4 points among registered voters, 48 percent to 44 percent.

She's ahead by 5% even including Johnson/Stein.

This further proves that the LA Times/USC poll is a fraud

I think we all were confident that once Trump's fake press conference with the ridiculous birtherism comments, along with his comments about taking Hillary's guards guns away started hitting the polls, they would swing back. Next we see how their responses to the terrorism attacks are perceived. Lastly, the debates.

More twists and turns coming, but in the end, Hillary will win.

We recently moved from SE. PA to SE FL. So we have experienced politics in 2 interesting areas.

Have seen about a dozen Trump-Pence supporters at the major intersection in town the last 2 weekends. But mostly being met by drivers ignoring them. I have my anti Trump stickers on the van and only occasionally get the rude response! So hopefully we can GOTV and win FL. for Hillary.

I lived in SE Florida (Boca Raton) for 7 years and moved back to Ohio last year. Driving is dangerous enough...but the Florida rednecks might start shooting at an anti-Trump sign. Stay out of Polk County.

If you are close, visit the Ringling Circus Museum in Sarasota.

It's much more than just a circus museum. Be sure and eat at the Muse at The Ringling while your there. Amazing food.

Are there really 5-7% of respondents to these polls swaying in the breeze of whatever the latest campaign gaffe is? I mean who are these feeble minded likely voters who change their mind from week to week based on whether HRC fell off a curb or called someone deplorable or Trump tweeted some racist bullshit or made vague assassination threats for the THIRD time?

Make a small donation. Get a lawn sign and/or a bumper sticker. Do some lit dropping. Write a letter to the editor. Do some phone banking or canvassing. Phone banking often can even be done from home. Check with your closest Dem party office. There are many things you can do that don't take much time or expense. Any little bit counts. Any little bit is important and helps.

We have a GOOD candidate. We should be VERY excited. It is another chance to make history.

Trump must not be allowed to get anywhere near the White House.

THANKS.

consistently been an outlier compared to other polls

Of course the problem is much of the media seems to give headlines to the outlier poll, instead of providing a true representation of the landscape.

While this is indeed good news, it is the state polls that give us a better indicator where we stand
