Trump campaign undergoes major overhaul

Source: CNN

By Jeremy Diamond, CNN

Updated 3:26 AM ET, Wed August 17, 2016

(CNN) Donald Trump's campaign is undergoing a major staff shakeup with less than three months to Election Day, adding two officials to top posts overseeing his struggling campaign.

Trump has named Steve Bannon, a former investment banker and the executive chairman of Breitbart News, to the post of chief executive and promoted Kellyanne Conway, a senior adviser and pollster to his campaign, to the position of campaign manager, Conway confirmed to CNN early Wednesday morning.

. . . Paul Manafort, the Trump campaign's chairman and chief strategist, will stay on as campaign chairman, Conway said.

"I look at it as an expansion of the team. Paul remains as Chairman," Conway told CNN.

and his new job is just the same, except he has to sell the no-talent to the general public. OK, that won't happen, but he may be able to keep the more gullible part of his base with him for the require 3 months.

2. Why would you do a campaign shakeup now?

That's 2-3 more news cycles of Campaign in Crisis, and not his anti-crime message (bullshit though it was) in Wisconsin.

Breitbart was always about money

The last banker to understand the political spectrum was who ...

Alexander Hamilton?

It's not a 'major staff shakeup' ... it's a hospice shuffle

They don't know where to turn. They are morally and intellectually bankrupt.

public opinion. I think Ailes has a very large role now that he's in, he is use to running the show and he is a genius at understanding the psychology of mass media message propagation and control. tRump has already publicly said that "some people think he will run my campaign." A lot of people love to hate politicians and regrettably Hillary is already being bombarded with the false e-mail narrative. Ailes will ramp it up along with the Clinton Foundation and more to come, a dirty campaign is about to become a filthy one. Innuendo becomes reported as fact, right wing-nut talk radio becomes mainstream reporting! Hope I'm being paranoid and that the arrogant narcissist continues shooting his mouth-off.

Because if you can't run a campaign, you can't run a country.

Will the media say this of Trump, never, regardless of how many reboots he goes through.

14. So they have a Campaign CEO, a Chairman, and a Manager.

First of all, isn't the candidate the CEO?
And what is the difference between the chairman and the manager?

And doesn't this just about guarantee more disagreement and infighting over the course of the campaign? Particularly with the unstated role of Roger Ailes....

Manafort , Ailes , Stone , Corey and others I cant think of right now . Republicans will get a day or two worth of news
cycle , plus when all the outlandish inaccurate stuff starts coming out of Don 's mouth Breitbarts guy is now front and
center . I hope media or democrats keep an eye on those we do not hear about daily the ones we cannot see / working behind the scenes .
