GOP vice presidential nominee Mike Pence on Thursday predicted that Roe v. Wade, the landmark Supreme Court ruling that legalized abortion, would be overturned if Donald Trump is elected president.
Im pro-life and I dont apologize for it, he said during a town hall meeting here. Well see Roe vs. Wade consigned to the ash heap of history where it belongs.
The comments made in a conservative stronghold that strongly supported Texas Sen. Ted Cruz over Trump in the Michigan primary were part of a broader argument Pence has been making on the stakes of the election: Voters need to consider that the next president will likely select multiple Supreme Court justices.

Freepers have a thread on this that is going 158 posts all negative They think Pence has just handed the election to Clinton by opening his big mouth and putting Roe-Wade on the table as an election issue
They say he should be vewwy vewwy quiet because Hilary will make it an issue if Pence doesn't shut his gobb
Freepland also is beginning to think Pence is a globalist liberal plant out to spoil Trump's victory
The stupid it burns like acid

(2,657 posts)" Dred Scott v. Sandford, 60 U.S. 393 (1857), also known simply as the Dred Scott case, was a landmark decision by the U.S. Supreme Court in which the Court held that "a negro, whose ancestors were imported into [the U.S.], and sold as slaves",[2][3] whether enslaved or free, could not be an American citizen and therefore had no standing to sue in federal court,[4][5] and that the federal government had no power to regulate slavery in the federal territories acquired after the creation of the United States. Dred Scott, an enslaved man of "the negro African race"[6] who had been taken by his owners to free states and territories, attempted to sue for his freedom. In a 72 decision written by Chief Justice Roger B. Taney, the court denied Scott's request. The decision was only the second time that the Supreme Court had ruled an Act of Congress to be unconstitutional.[7]

If the law forces women to have theses unwanted babies the men fathering them should have to support AND raise them.
