Egypt 'to sue' Iran's Fars news agency over Mursi report

The office of Egypt's president-elect Mohammed Mursi is to take legal action against the Iranian Fars news agency for fabricating an interview with him, the official Mena news agency said.

Fars quoted Mr Mursi saying the two countries should improve ties.

Such a move would go against Western efforts to isolate Tehran over its controversial nuclear programme.

Mena quoted Mr Mursi's spokesman, Yasir Ali, as saying the interview was entirely made up.

I was listening to RW bully radio, hannity in particular,and he was all over this interview claiming that Iran was going to take over the middle east and it was OF COURSE Obama's fault because of his failed foreign policy and "he's in over his head" bullshit etc... the alternative reality that this tirade of his exist in is so insidious it make my blood boil!! where did Iran's power get a boost? when the ACTUAL failed foreign policy of W invaded it's neighbor and caused a shift in the balance of power toward Iran and led to our weakened economic an international influence...now with the revelation that this interview of Mursi was fabricated by Iran and that the "brotherhood" is more moderate and responsive to the majority of Egypt and not foreign influence from Iran, do you think he will report on it and backtrack? doubtful.
