Issa: No evidence White House covered up 'Fast and Furious' fallout
Source: Los Angeles Times
House oversight committee chairman Darrell Issa said Sunday that he has no evidence the White House was involved in what could be a Justice Department "cover up” to contain fallout from the botched “Fast and Furious” operation. In a series of interviews on the political talk shows, the California Republican repeatedly accused Justice Department officials of lying to Congress about the gun-trafficking sting operation and withholding documents from congressional investigators. But Issa acknowledged his committee has seen no evidence the White House was involved. “And I hope that they don’t get involved,” Issa said, speaking on “Fox News Sunday.” “I hope that this stays at Justice, and I hope that Justice cooperates because, ultimately, Justice lied to the American people on Feb. 4, and they didn’t make it right for 10 months.” Read more: http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-pn-issa-no-evidence-white-house-covered-up-fast-and-furious-fallout-20120624,0,5244823.story

|
Why I don't know but Obama has always been above this petty bullshit. Also possibly if he was forced to show them it would be serious mud in the face of the GOP.

4. It's on now!
|
And let's refresh our memories....!
Congressman Darrell Issa, the man with the nerve to call the Obama Administration "corrupt," knows a thing or two about corruption. After all, the man has been arrested at least 3 times over the years for things like possessing an illegal weapon and stealing cars. That's right - the man in charge of investigations for the House is a former car thief. Watch as Mike Papantonio and Ed Schultz uncover Issa's criminal past. "The Carjacker of the House!!!!" |

17. He also was suspected of Arson. The guy is crooked as can be and if he had not
|
managed to make so money, he would be probably be in jail for bank robbery or some other crime. Someone should maybe start looking into how he made all that money. Hard to believe anything he has done was done honestly.

18. Extortion and forclosure--he made a loan to a business partner, the guy was late with the check, so
|
he forclosed. That was the alarm business that made him rich!
I think a few light scratches on that guy and we'd uncover a lot of rot. We oughta give him something to cry about, the little whiner. |

19. In the arson case, the insurance company refused to pay
|
so they clearly had suspicions. A private deal was made eventually, but the fact is, the issue was never resolved.
No one with a background like this should be in the US Congress. Don't they do background checks on these people? In the real world, he would have had a problem getting a job of any kind of responsibility with his background. I wondered how he 'made it'. Thanks for the info, foreclosing on friend because he was late with a check? More evidence of a person with zero character. I think a few light scratches on that guy and we'd uncover a lot of rot. I agree and think someone should take on that task before he runs again. |

21. It is extreme irony that a LAWMAKER, a committee chair with oversight over the JUDICIAL branch, is a
|
frigging criminal. It's outrageous.
He bought the seat, I think. Remember when he spent a million bucks of his own "Viper" money recalling Grey Davis? And then sobbing like a wee child when AHHHHHHHHH-NULD took his cookie? I found that whole recall disgusting and offensive, but that occasion did give me a sliver of humor--watching Issa tear up and bawl because he wasted a million bucks was Mastercard Priceless! |

22. I didn't know much about the details of that recall until later when I read more
|
about it and that was the first time I had heard of Issa. It was a good thing he lost what he set out to win, however, Arnold was no prize either.
So with his ill-gotten money, this criminal managed to buy a seat in Congress. But what about those who vote for him? Don't they know his background, or is it only recently that he has been exposed? I know he tries to brush it aside and claims it was all just youthful indiscretion, but if we had a Dem running with that kind of background, I would not support him and besides, the Republicans would be screaming about it until he was forced out of the race. Issa has managed to slide for a long time. Sometimes they get too arrogant and feel they are above the fall they so richly deserve. This might be about to happen to him now that he has made himself so public. We can hope. |

The right thought they were going to Clinton Obama to hell. Issa said as much. They aint got shit. And the more they act like they do, the more unhinged they seem. What with 1/4 of the people undecided, the debates will bury those freaks. Romney will still be shoring up his base pipe smokers thru Nov. Issa will have to withdraw his threats. They will look weak.
I study the right wing freaks, and about all they have anymore is rank insults. They say people are stupid to vote for Obama. They say we are all crooks. They spout things without a shred of evidence. I just hope we dont put anything off the table if/when we win. Prosecute or prohibit most of their scam plans. |

Maybe in 2-3 months he'll connect Obama, then the GOP can start sayin IMPEACHMENT, which would be really stupid of them.
