Jeremy Corbyn told to 'sit down and shut up' in Commons as he criticises Iraq War after publication

Source: Independent.UK

Jeremy Corbyn was told to "sit down and shut up" as he criticised the Iraq War in a speech to the House of Commons after the publication of the Chilcot report.

Labour MP for Dudley North Ian Austin heckled the Labour leader, telling him to "shut up" and shouting "you're a disgrace".

Speaker of the House, John Bercow, interrupted proceedings and said: "The Right Honorable gentleman is entitled to be heard with courtesy."

and it is the height of disloyalty to criticize him or find fault with him in any way. The (L) ends all arguments and makes those daring to find fault arrogant purists, who let the perfect be the enemy of the good, and shows that they really just want the Tories to win.

arrogant Blairites in the L party simply cannot handle the damned truth. They're as bad as their idol, worse, in fact, because they're still (unfortunately) in power.

I think you will find that the exact opposite is the case. The Blairites have either refused to serve under corbyn in the first place, or walked out of the shadow cabinet (along with a good chunk of non-Blairites) in protest at Corbyn's weak, inept leadership.

I always found government unsuitable for the power of life and death.

we are culpable.
