CNN.com Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has been revived after his heart stopped while in custody, a prosecutor's spokesman told CNN Tuesday.
Meanwhile, state-run Nile TV, citing medical sources, reported that Mubarak suffered a stroke and was in critical condition.
"We were informed by prison (officials) that Mubarak's heart has stopped, and they used electric shocks and CPR to resurrect him," Adel Saeed, the prosecutor's spokesman, told CNN.
Saeed said Tuesday that Mubarak is now on a respirator, and he might be moved to a military hospital soon.
