Human rights activists project 'Daesh Bank' onto Saudi Arabia's embassy in Berlin
Source: Independent UK
Human-rights activists have projected the Isis flag and the phrase "Daesh bank" onto the side of the Saudi embassy in Berlin.
The "guerrilla light project" was organised by artist Oliver Bienkowski, who wanted to highlight the country's relationship with the extreme Islamist movement and its much-criticised human rights record.
Saudi Arabia has been accused of indirectly creating Isis through the propagation of its fundamentalist Wahhabist interpretation of Islam.
Saudi Arabia has also been accused of financially supporting extremist rebel groups in Syria.

(6,419 posts)this guy has a certain narrow focus on what he "protests", i.e., targets that Russian propaganda would like more attention to. And then--coincidence!--his lightshows just happen to immediately appear on Russia Today. One of his protests compared the USA to the Communist Stasi secret police, which is braindead regressive left at its best. (Irony is dead--RT featured that protest, not mentioning that Putin worked closely with the head of the Stasi when he was in the KGB based in Germany.)
Don't get me wrong, I despise the Saudi gov and all those fucked up theocracies in that area like Iran, but funny that this well-funded "human rights activist" hasn't targeted Iran or China or Russia or North Korea and chooses predetermined subjects that suits a particular agenda, and I suspect that agenda is not human rights in general.
