Mitt Romney Mocks Obama Over Ohio Economy Speech
Source: Huffington Post
Mitt Romney will mock President Barack Obama over his "very long" economy speech Thursday in Ohio, according to excerpts released from the Romney campaign on Friday. The presumptive Republican nominee will deliver the first speech of his five-day, six-state bus tour in New Hampshire and turn the president's oft-used phrase about giving Americans a "fair shot" against him. "Somewhere in that long speech, President Obama spoke of giving people a 'fair shot.' I couldn't agree more," Romney will say. "President Obama isn't giving our students a fair shot when they graduate and only half of them can find jobs or work that matches their skills. And he isn't giving the middle class a fair shot when wages keep going down and prices keep going up. Under Barack Obama, more Americans are living in poverty than under any President in history. That's a tragedy, not a fair shot!" 6. If you don't make any public campaign promises, you don't have to keep any of them

The only promises he will keep are those that the multi-million dollar investors are asking for.

5. Really, Romney sounds like George W. Bush to me
|
I think the Obama Campaign needs to run ads morphing Romney into Bush. From what I've heard from Romney, he wants to do the exact same thing Bush and the Bush-era Republicans did, which resulted in the mess we've had since 2008.
I'll bet some of the words they've spoken are the same. Since most Americans still disapprove of Bush, and he's so unpopular that the GOP will likely barely mention him during this election, I think it's important for the Democrats to keep him front and center. They could even point out his ABSENCE in GOP events. Narrative: "Why aren't the Republicans reminding Americans how much better off they are? Because Republican policies during the George W. Bush years increased the deficit to record levels, lowered household income, increased unemployment, put more Americans in poverty, increased the size of government, rewarded corporations for off shoring American jobs, gave huge tax breaks to millionaires, reduced regulations and oversight that led to the great recession of 2008, and increased the gap between middle and upper income Americans. Mitt Romney's plans for America are more of the same." |

It would seem that scorn, ridicule and contempt are what Romney does best. Oh, and lie, he does quite a bit of that too.

15. Romney: Long On Attacks -- Short on Ideas.
|
Seriously. Hasn't ANY republicans noticed yet that Romney has NO ideas? No Plans? Nothing but "hey, I'm white and rich!" ALl of the comments i see online from republicans are disgusting attacks on the President, mostly personal. And not ONE is supportive of Romney or his polices (whatever the fuck they are.) The closest thing I've seen so far in praise of Romney was tonight on yahoo.
Someone wrote "Whenever Romney talks he seem so completely natural and unscripted, unlike Obama!" Which I find to be the weirdest thing ever. Their candidate is pure garbage.. and all they can do is attack President Obama personally, just as Romney is doing. |
