Bryson to take medical leave

(CNN) – U.S. Secretary of Commerce John Bryson, under investigation for possible felony hit-and-run after allegedly causing two weekend car accidents in California, will take a medical leave of absence "as he undergoes tests and evaluations," White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said Monday night.

A Commerce Department spokeswoman said earlier Monday that Bryson, 68, had suffered a seizure when the two accidents occurred Saturday.

Just hope no one was hurt, and that it may be time for him to retire from work or maybe just driving. If it was a stroke, that is or from an untreatable condition, that is. It would seem he'd be unable to keep his license if this is what happened to him. He looks in fairly good shape in the photograph, though.

The regular treatments for them. It can be dangerous with sudden falls, etc. I know a person who literally had to wear a helmet, the falls were so unpredictable. The lesions were from meningitis in childhood. After many injuries the person is in a wheelchair, which is safer.

Considering no drugs or alcohol and he was unconscious at the scene...I am guessing that is probably what happened.

People having these, but not driving. They often remember nothing and it takes a while to 'get back' so to speak. I'm glad to see that the people in the other vehicle weren't hurt badly, or at least it didn't say they had to be treated.

That he was found unconscious, might have been one of the different kinds of seizures. I won't bore you with details.

Appreciate the fuller verion, Tx4Obama, you always keep up well with your threads and links.

A plain old infection can cause a person to black out-- says the woman who once drove 10 miles while unconscious due to a UTI.
