MANCHESTER, N.H. Hillary Clinton, the only Democratic candidate in New Hampshire on Saturday, made a surprise visit in Manchester after winter weather forced her to change her campaign trail.
.....................
I was excited to door knock before this, but I'm even more excited now, canvasser Kerry OBrien said.
Dozens of volunteers were door knocking in Exeter.
It was really exciting to me, canvasser Jackealena Peguero said. I didn't know that she would be here.
..................
Boston Mayor Marty Walsh was also on hand, making the drive north to stump for Clinton.
..............
To the Seacoast, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen continued to campaign on Clinton's behalf.

ROCHESTER ..........................
"We can either build on the progress we've made under President Obama, or we can rip it all up and start over," Clinton said.
.......................................................
..................... Clinton pointed to her involvement in the State Children's Health Insurance Program as a step in laying the groundwork for the Affordable Care Act.
"It's especially terrible when it comes to children who need treatment, and they can't get insurance," Clinton said. Now theres over eight million children insured.
In particular, Clinton focused on how she would regulate the drug companies. She said as president she would take away the tax break that drug companies get from advertisements.
"The companies will say, 'Oh, she's trying to interfere with research,'" Clinton said. "But I would actually be doing them a favor, because the companies currently spend more money on advertisements than research, so they would have to focus on research."........................

We are certainly in need of someone taking on the drug companies, and HC can and will do it.

(69,722 posts)commit to caucus. Once they gather (Feb 1 for Iowas)--they are not required to vote for that candidate--. But it is an insentive. Once people say they will do something, they are more inclined to follow through on what they say they will do. Hope this helps. Have a good day.
