An advocacy group is offering Donald Trump sensitivity training after the Republican presidential candidate appeared to mock a reporter with a disability at a rally in South Carolina on Tuesday.
At issue is what The New York Times interprets as Trump's attempt to "ridicule the appearance" of journalist Serge Kovaleski.
Speaking to supporters, Trump challenged recollections by Kovaleski and others about the 9/11 aftermath during a speech. Trump has made unsubstantiated claims that thousands of Muslims in New Jersey were seen celebrating the attack.
Trump said, "Poor guy, you oughta see this guy," then gestured in a jerky fashion as if imitating Kovaleski's movements.

(764 posts)At least he is honest about how feels about the reporters disability. Many people say they are disabled friendly and use the politically correct words but us disabled know they aren't. I am curious how the Trump camp is going to address his mistake and yes I think showing his bullying silver spoon up bring was a mistake on his part. What concerns me most is that about 1/6th of the voting public identifies with many of his emotion filled points. That doesn't usually end well.
