Major Hillary Clinton Donor Urges ‘More Scrutiny’ of Muslims

Source: New York Times

Haim Saban, a Hollywood mogul and Israel hawk who is one of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s biggest backers, suggested there should be “more scrutiny” of Muslims in the wake of the terrorist attacks in Paris.

But Mr. Saban, in an interview with the Hollywood news website The Wrap, said he believes the violence can only help Mrs. Clinton, the former secretary of state who enjoys a comfortable lead in polls of the Democratic presidential field.

Mr. Saban was blunt about how his colleagues in Hollywood view the national landscape after the terror attacks in France. His remarks were published on the eve of a national security speech that Mrs. Clinton is giving about how to confront the Islamic State and terrorism in general.

“Many members of the Hollywood community are very liberal and they value their civil liberties more than they value life,” Mr. Saban said. “I disagree with that. You want to be free and dead? I’d rather be not free and alive.”

It's just hard to tell the difference between her kind of Democrat and a Republican. Unfortunately, there are many like her.

Let's see, doesn't it work like this?

He's a big donor (thank you CU) that wants a favor and offers a suggestion? Why should/would she listen to him?
Answer: She's a store bought politician. You can bet your ass she'll listen, and most likely will abide to his request, whether or not she agrees with his opinion.

Do the Hillary supporters get the correlation here?

I'm sorry, but I cannot support vote for any SPAC candidate. It's not fair, and just not right!!!

Don't you want a politician not supported by unlimited special interests? One that CAN'T be bought? One that tells the truth EACH and EVERY time(no one in history can hold a candle to his trustworthiness), and constantly supports the middle class?

Vote for Bernie, and eliminate the BULLSHIT in your life!!! WE can do it together.

that it shouldn't be true.

If there were a backlash against those who are perceived to benefit, candidates might rethink it.

But it was Clinton Supporter and (now) Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel who said, "You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before."

Rahm didn't actually author the saying but he expanded it by explaining. Don't know if he was he first, but it is a quote tied to Winston Churchill.

This was a real gaffe. What a public relations disaster this guy is. His remark that all this violence can only help Hillary Clinton is so
inappropriate. I am not a Hillary supporter but I sure don't like the flavor of this guy's speech or his ideas. He sounds like a destructive person. He is not helping his candidate. I hope this doesn't get put through the news media echo chamber. It should end right here.
