Obama knocks Romney's CEO past in first 2012 campaign rally

Source: Orlando Sentinel

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Reuters) - President Barack Obama used his first political rally of the 2012 campaign on Saturday to attack Republican Mitt Romney for learning the "wrong lessons" as a CEO and promised to move the U.S. economy forward if he wins a second term.

Obama, a Democrat, formally launched his Chicago-based re-election effort last year, but his official political events have been confined to fundraisers since then.

That changed this weekend, and the president - who has criticized the former Massachusetts governor since he became the Republican party's presumptive nominee - showed at the first stop in Ohio he was ready for a fight.

With his wife at his side and Air Force One as a campaign plane, Obama said Romney was a patriotic American who had a lot to be proud of, but knocked the former governor for an economic plan that would favor the wealthy.

as CEO: he learned how to make money and show quarterly improvements on the balance sheet. But that's not what a government does, nor should it.

are paying back the government/tax payers for the use of said plane. Shit, they have reimbursed more moneyto date than the gopper Bush and crew ever did.

I am getting effing tired of this one-sided negative print out and corporate media bullshit. Shit all this covering up for Mittens effed up campaign is crapola.

He and his wife did fill up that stadium huh, the crowd loves them, and his speech was spot on.

In the 2008 presidential contest, which candidate got more votes from people with incomes over $200,000, Obama or McCain?

Go ahead. Look it up.

...there, it's all about "eat what you kill" -- and if the kill means putting people out on the street to support the bottom line for the only people who matter (wealthy shareholders) then so be it. Not the way a government of the people should be run.

It's also interesting that the writer had to mention the campaign headquarters in Chicago, but didn't mention Romney's.
