They should just ban all of them. I dont see how the high court would allow the DMV to pick and choose what to allow. The phrase isnt vulgar. Maybe the CFC should try again with a "Choose Adoption" tag & see how far that goes
That judge's statement is a bit loopy. How is a license plate NOT a public forum? Its IN public! Seems a ruling like this could also be used to stop display of what someone could consider "offensive" art in a museum. After all, a museum indoors could hardly be considered a "public forum" if a license plate isnt!
If they appeal, this gets tossed. IMO, of course. My extensive legal training of zero hrs tells me so.
