Australian Federal Police launch raids in Melbourne

Improvised bombs have been found in anti-terror raids in Melbourne’s northwest this afternoon.
Police will detonate the bombs at a reserve tonight, with a 300 metre exclusion zone set up around the site.
The controlled detonation will be performed by the Victoria Police Bomb Response Unit.
Heavily armed police raided the home in Melbourne’s northwest, which has now been declared safe.
