Republican governor cautions GOP over "Clinton Cash" knocks

Source: CBS News

Journalist Peter Schweizer set off a firestorm last week with revelations from his forthcoming "Clinton Cash" book, which allegedly exposes ties to the Clinton Foundation's foreign donors and favors granted by the State Department during Hillary Clinton's tenure.

Since the Monday reveal of Schweizer's key findings, several Republican heavyweights have chimed in on the controversy: Presidential candidate and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul promised that the "Clinton Cash" revelations would be "alarming" and "mind-boggling." Texas Sen. Ted Cruz released a statement Friday saying that the disclosures "create more doubt about whether the former Secretary of State can be trusted." And former Hewlett-Packard executive Carly Fiorina bashed the former first lady on Facebook, calling the scandal just another lesson in "the Clinton way."

But a Republican governor -- one who presides over the Clintons' home state -- is urging his GOP colleagues to employ caution when criticizing the former secretary of state.

There's "no evidence of a quid pro quo," Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson said Sunday on NBC News. "Republicans need to be careful not to overstate the case."

the never ending Clinton 'scandals' are being manufactured by right wing operatives. I'm not a huge Hillary fan but the non-stop assault upon her is more than bizarre. The Republican's can't win on debating the issues so 'Hillary as the incarnation of evil' is all they have.

to take out the one they perceive as the Dems' strongest candidate (or sometimes just scariest candidate) before the nomination, employing whatever means necessary. It's Hillary's turn - again - to be the primary target.

I have serious issues with Hillary, but I have much more serious issues with the ability of the RW to get away with all this bullshit with the aid & comfort of M$M.

Back in the 90's the HCAAC (Hate Clinton At All Costs) club ran with anything and everything they could make up.

Remember "The Clinton Chronicles," and how Jerry Falwell promoted that bullshit video?

Fact is, all the HCAAC club ever came up with was a fib about oral sex.
And they thought that would be THE "issue" that would get Bill Clinton impeached.

Colossal failure.

Remember "I did not have sex with that woman"? According to the laws of the city of Washington, only intercourse is legally "sex." Because Bill Clinton didn't have intercourse with Monica Lewinsky, he really DIDN'T have sex with that woman.

http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2015-04-26/don-t-underestimate-hillary-clinton-john-kasich-says

“She'll be a very formidable candidate,” the Ohio governor said in an appearance on CNN's State of the Union on Sunday. “I mean she's having a lot of problems now, going to have to answer a lot of questions, but anybody that underestimates Hillary Clinton I think makes a mistake. You know, they underestimated her husband.”

Kasich said Clinton and other candidates all have a shot at winning the swing state he leads, so long as they don't run divisive campaigns.

When Schweizer is finally debunked by his own, the collapse will be even sweeter.

There's a couple of hate-filled columnists in the Boston area that will look especially funny with egg on their faces.

The lies have been told, a certain percentage of fence-sitting voters make up their minds based on these lies, they won't even notice when the lies are exposed, then it's done all over again and again.
