Right-Wing Group Judicial Watch Says It Prevented ISIS Terrorist Attack South of El Paso

Judicial Watch, the right-wing legal group founded by Larry Klayman, has been pushing to conservative media its new claim that the terrorist group ISIS has set up camp just south of the U.S. border with Mexico. The Family Research Councils Tony Perkins spoke with Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, about the allegations, and Perkins announced that authorities have confirmed the groups report about an ISIS base a few miles south of El Paso, Texas.
Actually, authorities have done exactly the opposite: The U.S. Department of State, the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Northern Command, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the El Paso County Sheriffs Office and the Mexican government have all denied Judicial Watchs report. Reporters who have visited the location of the supposed ISIS base have also found no evidence at all of it existing.
Fitton nonetheless told Perkins that Judicial Watchs research is so reliable that the group actually recently prevented a terrorist attack from occurring in the U.S. There was going to be an imminent attack around September which we reported, I think it was averted as a result of our report, Fitton said, before acknowledging that DHS and other agencies have denied his groups account of an ISIS border camp.
According to Fitton, the government is only disputing Judicial Watchs work is because it gets in the way of the open borders agenda, it gets in the way of the amnesty agenda.

(50,552 posts)Naturally, none of our justice people nor any of the Mexicans' justice people think this camp is there, and the people who run ISIS are sitting there scratching their heads going, "we have a camp in Mexico? When was someone going to tell US?" But Judicial Watch says it's there, so it must be.

(29,322 posts)He plays a lazy National Guard soldier that I can't remember is unexpectedly ordered to deploy to Iraq, never mind it is only 2 on a C130 but it crash lands in Mexico or is in Mexico for some reason. When they are in Mexico they think they are in Iraq so he is out there reacting as if they're insurgents in Iraq. The comedy was not just horribly unfunny, it was also offensive. The joke is he is in a desert-like country with brown people, he asks one of them "Are you a Turd or a Shit?" get it? The movie was terrible that I completely forgot I watched it but your post reminded me of the premise of that movie

(32,723 posts)There was a first person shooter video game where you were part of a strike force attacking al Qaeda's underground bunker system in Afghanistan (which didn't exist in reality) The Boss Level of course was bin Laden.
In another video game you were taking on Saddam's elite forces,...and all of the Iraqi soldiers had his mustache. (As if it was part of the uniform). The Boss Level finds Saddam and bin Laden together.
Then there was that stupid movie they did which depicted Dubya demanding his detail take him to DC and them telling him it's not safe yet. (In reality, he ran and hid like a rabbit until members of his own party started criticizing him for his cowardice.)
Remember that late afternoon when he finally came back? You could see him looking nervously at the shrubbery as if there might be a sniper. Then he notices the camera filming his walking and he gives it a dirty look as if it's only there to document his assassination.

(29,322 posts)was the Operation Desert Storm. I didn't play it personally but occasionally watched a group a friends play it which was one of the Xbox games they had, the biggest thing is the locations looked completely different than reality like Kuwait City looks nothing like Kuwait City.
It was completely fictional well there was the scientist which is one of the main characters or one of the only characters in games like that who disarmed nukes & so much of the plot was about trying to blow up a bridge on the Iraq-Kuwait border, I don't know if bridges actually exist but it isn't the only way to get into Kuwait I've been through the Navistar which the "highway of death" leads to & on the other side is the main Iraq highway that goes to Baghdad & near Al-Hilla but no place major in between.
The war ends when the Delta Force kill the top military guy which the producers probably weren't aware of the irony with that because not too long before Iraq-Kuwait war in 1989 Saddam blew up his brother-in-law (he was on his second wife at the time) who was the top military guy but this came in the aftermath when Uday killed one of his servants at a party (Mubarak's anniversary) because he would pick up or arrange the woman who became his second wife could be because he was worried about his heir status as the first son.
His first wife was very jealous angry of Samira & her brother was critical of Uday not just for that but he was very reckless with the incident where he fired a gun inside a night club after the Iran -- Iraq stalemate was a serious rapist & brutally tortured people. During the aftermath of the party there which caused a rift & Saddam highly paranoid of "traitors" blew him up in a helicopter "accident". Saddam nearly killed Uday but banished him to Switzerland. Eventually Uday gains more power & responsibility which enables his brutality which he showed off on "traitors".
During Iraq -- US occupation, the home the brothers were staying the home owner sold them out because of Uday's disrespectful behavior & taking his hospitality for granted not to mention the risks associated at the time. The other 2 I don't have issues with considering the circumstances, especially of the 14 year old.
Anyways, at-the-end of the game the Emir personally thanks you for "liberating Kuwait" which was a conflict with over oil production & possibly slant drilling. Not sure if Kuwait really was but it is very possible because Iraq has super giant oil a rig can be set up but Iraq wanted Kuwait to slow down the oil production because of debt from the Iran-Iraq war. It is interesting for another reason is because Kuwait for the longest time didn't want US military or strategic allied with them until 1987 & the Iraq-Kuwait issue was convienent because the US-Kuwait relations improved dramatically now we have Camp Arif Jan, which CENTCOM & many top military & defense officials meet & plan in Zone 1 buildings down the street from an Olympic Sized Pool, top shelf gymnasium facilities (Obama "played basket ball with the troops" there during his '08 campaign.
Obviously the game was propaganda but I don't expect much creativity with the exception of a handful of games. A lot use historical settings & historical conflicts for a basic setting. The first person shooters especially. Call of Duty has "Afghanistan" & Latin American countries as settings for the MMOP. I remember buildings with the Communist logo on them. I never was a fan, not even Halo. I liked "Operation Just Cause" it was a sandbox style in a Grand Theft Auto way but different, you can slingshot your way across territory using the grappling hooks on trees & parachute but the country, people, & factions were entirely fictional but wasn't the kind of wave the flag simplistic US propaganda storyl, I think eventually the plot leads you to kill your CIA boss (there was no direct references like that but it was obvious who the inspirations were for)

(29,322 posts)A long with their conspiracy theories that Obama is letting illegal immigration to enter the country (A 3% went as far to claim they were "put into red states" as part of the Marxist coup so they have unregulated border patrol "doing the job the federal government refuses to do" & claim in addition to their immigration conspiracy, they often claim ISIS could enter the US easily & will. So the unregulated border patrol is looking out for ISIS (I fear for their victims unfortunate to come across their paths) that ISIS base was probably the Jaurez Cartel.

Translation: Fitton and his pals made this up out of moonshine. Tomorrow morning, Ducey will be pimping this story on Fox and Friends. By afternoon, Hannity will be doing live interviews with witnesses at the scene.
