WILMINGTON, Ohio -- Democrat Ted Strickland is likely to launch a U.S. Senate bid Wednesday, according to sources close to the former Ohio governor.
A spokesman said Strickland will issue a morning statement, and all indications are that he will confirm his intentions to challenge Republican incumbent Rob Portman.

(2,157 posts)Republicans are not going to come out in droves to support Senator Portman after it was revealed his son is gay & that the Senator has said his opinion of homosexuality is evolving.
I can't wait to get involved in the Strickland for Senate Campaign. Any updates would be appreciated...
