Police say Scarborough man made bombs in his home

Source: Maine SunJournal

SCARBOROUGH — A 20-year-old Coach Lantern Lane resident faces criminal charges after police allegedly found bomb-making materials and instruction books at his home.

Philip Lekousi was issued a summons on a charge of criminal use of explosives by the Office of The Maine Fire Marshal on April 13.

That morning, Lekousi showed up to work at NAPA Auto Parts on Payne Road, according to Scarborough Police Sgt. Rick Rouse. A coworker called the police to report a post about making bombs on Lekousi's Facebook page.

Lekouski's Facebook profile includes an April 5 post that says "step one, make explosives," followed by comments from Lekousi's friends mentioning C4 and "ied manuals."

Because in my haste I neglected to read the word "man" in the post title.

See I thought somebody has busted THIS douchebag for making bombs:

Face it, there are people that like to make things go boom that aren't terrorists. These days, it's more and more an accident of geography as to whether they get any opportunity outside of Burning Man. And buying bigass guns and ammo, while sort of possible, is really expensive.

I think there should be rules. The shed should be 250 yards from anything, with open walls and blastproof roof, you're allowed no more raw materials than you can carry in yourself on foot, and beyond that you're on your own.

I think it would also make a luxury vacation sort of place, but that would price most people out of the market. I think a county park is a better idea.

I can't quite tell if this deserves the sarcasm icon or not.
