California Lieutenant Governor Newsom Gets Current TV Show.

Gavin Newsom, California's lieutenant governor who made international headlines when he granted marriage licenses to gay couples as San Francisco's mayor in 2004, will host a weekly talk show for left-leaning Current TV starting next month.

In person, he is strikingly attractive and engaging.

If his charm comes across well on cable, this should be a terrific show!

something like this. I don't care what party they are with. But hey republicans get away all the time with this. I just have mixed feelings. I know it will be a plus.

we'd have a more educated electorate - especially in CA. I'm astounded just how not very politically knowledgeable my fellow SoCal peeps are! Maybe this might offer them the help they need.

I'm liking CurrentTV more and more. I love the early shows (insomniac here) and watch most of Bill Press' show, but watch all of Stephanie Millers' show (excellent show that has me laughing all the time - she and her fellow hosts are so freaking funny!).
