The Greatest Page is back
When we we made the switch to DU3, we incorporated the list of Greatest threads into the Latest page. After living with it for a while we've decided that the Greatest threads should have their own page just as they did on DU2.
The new Greatest page is now no longer available as a button on the Latest page -- instead it has its own tab among the navigation tabs at the top of the page. The Greatest page should look very familiar to those of you who used it frequently on DU2. Here's a direct link: http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=greatest_threads Note that the old "Top Tens" lists are not included -- they are now mostly irrelevant since the Unrecommend function no longer exists. Also note that there is a mobile version of the Greatest page for those of you browsing DU on mobile devices. Thanks for your patience while we continue to work on and improve our new DU software. DU is really shaping up nicely. Congratulations!
How about <sup> and <sub> buttons, so we can do CO2 and mc2 easily? Then there's lists... But thanks for all you do.

and am thrilled it is back with just one. The Greatest Page is an integral part of DU to me.
As far as I'm concerned, once you give us the polls, we will be pretty much all set with DU3.  |

Just tried again and it took about 45 seconds to load. |

Frankly, DU is just a shadow of its former self and hardly readable at this point; all of it having to do with administrative choices (vs. dynamics/factors within the posting community). ETA: definitely the right decision to bring back the Greatest Page with its DU2 format though, thank you for that!! (DU instantly feels better all of a sudden! )
