It's also fairly obvious that gun control has lost the argument, and needs to figure out a new strategy. It's simply not an election issue, unfortunately, and to the great detriment of the polity. But that ship has sailed.

Is a Model 18 and is illegal to own. ( The machine gun registry was closed in 1986, IIRC before the G18 was created) As far as I know, there are no legal ones in the U.S. The one in the video is likely a dealer sample, ie, the guy owns a gun store and has one on display for law enforcement to look at.

The drum mag is garbage. Heavy, impractical, unreliable. A novelty, really.

a couple of assassinations or an attack by gun crazy militia types to start a race war, and we will end up with stronger gun control measures. Voters react quickly to these types of things and there is a tipping point. You can bury your head in todays attitudes, but don't count on them.
