I did not bat an eye.

Another shooting...and I somehow was not surprised. This is either a very sad commentary on me at this stage in my life, having lived through countless outrages and now inured to them, or it is a commentary on my country...maybe a bit of both. Either way, it is not good. Go to the movies, go to school, fly in a plane, ride in a motorcade, hold a campaign at a supermarket, piss off your boss, piss off your ex. This is how we settle things in America. I don't know what we do about this but I do know one thing: treat and speak of everyone with respect. Even those we disagree with. I think of the old adage during WWII "loose lips sink ships." Today, loose lips encourage psychopaths and cause death. Rush, Glen, take note.

i have been thinking about that since hearing the story. and feel that, too. that alone says a whole lot, where we are today.

off, it was going to be another one of those god-awful days. This is heartbreaking and I don't want to listen to commenters on the tv..
