I thought the retroactive retirement was the dumbest thing I had heard in this election.
And then Mitt brought up Teresa Heinz Kerry's lack of transparency regarding her tax returns. Make no mistake about it folks, Willard, aka master of the universe, is in complete control of his campaign and we could not be luckier.
These financial geniuses think they are exponentially smarter than us mere mortals. No one will be able to convince Willard that he is wrong. They have chosen a real liability to lead their ticket.

That we have yet to hear the dumbest thing said by the Romney camp this election. Every time they try to do damage control, they just end up doing more damage.

Now Mitt knows everything about every aspect of a Presidential campaign, even though his record is not what we call "stellar".. I am so glad Mitt knows "everything" |

What is more ludicrous is the claim that someone would spend their time and energy building a successful company, retain all ownership and liability, and not oversee executive decisions for YEARS. Ridiculous.

And your point is a good one. I have spent some time working in top legal positions for people with money. They take their money more seriously than their kids and they understand their potential exposure when they sign their SEC disclosure documents.

13. I think Romney's decision to sing America The Beautiful
|
was probably his dumb idea. He seems to think it was a jab at Obama for singing one line of the Al Green tune and an attempt to attract attention to himself as if to say "see how much more patriotic I am?" No campaign strategist could be that idiotic.

15. Among the many things that I love about that ad
|
is that it demonstrates clearly how self-absorbed the guy is. He either has no idea that he can't carry a tune in a bucket or he just doesn't care about the pain he inflicts on listeners' eardrums.

And if you want to play that game, remember the Republican wailing about Johnny Chung, and how he was supposedly funneling funds from China to Clinton? What's your donation tally from Sheldon Adelson up to? |

28. I didn't think the retroactive retirement thing was dumb because I know someone that did it
|
My ex-wife was vested in her company's profit sharing plan (a grocery store chain in Florida), and then decided to join the military to finish her degree. She went on a military leave of absence, planning to finish school in four years, then come back to the company and work in the headquarters. She decided instead to re-enlist, and retired from the company, with the retirement date retroactive to when she first enlisted.
