Mitt doesn't seem to 'get' how this works....

He is interviewing for a job - the job of President of the United States. WE (the people of the US) are the employer, and if we aren't satisfied by the answers provided during the interview process, he won't get the job.*

Now, as a man who was born with millions, never HAD to work a day in his life and was sole shareholder, president and CEO of Bain Capital, I can understand how this process would confuse and irritate him. After all, he's never been in a position where he's been held accountable for his actions or had to answer to a group of people. I know he was Mass governor and went throught that election, but his record at Bain and his finances did not receive the amount of scrutiny that they are now.

This is a man who is so corrupt and arrogant, he makes Bush look like an honest, easy-to-get-along-with guy. It is inconceivable to him that he has to do anything the people (his employer) are asking him to do. He always does whatever he damn well pleases because he's the CEO. He'd be far worse as president than Bush ever was (if you can wrap your head around that one).

*disclaimer: this statement was made assuming the electorate is well-informed with the facts and that the election process is not rigged.

When people get a real look at Rmoney they will be repulsed. Most aren't paying attention at all yet. Maybe the debates will wake them up to just how bad a pres Mitt would be.

"When people get a real look at Rmoney they will be repulsed."

The boundless optimism of some folks never ceases to amaze.

Have you noticed how Rmoney can't handle the pressure? In the Repub primary debates he freaked out every time he was criticised. Yes, they voted for him anyway but he has yet to face the real scrutiny that will come in a debate with Obama. Damn right I'm optimistic. Otherwise we should all just give up.

Before greed crashed the economy where Joe Six-pack felt it with his underwater mortgage and 401k plan at 50% in 2008.

This one affected we the little people, and as a result people are a lot less tolerant about vulture capitalism than a few years ago.

My hubby said this perfectly:

"In Romney's Reality it doesn't matter what he personally believes, because he is selling a product, and as CEO of Romney For President, he has to craft the product to meet the market demand."

This is what is going on here, of that I have no question. What he doesn't get is that in this case market demand is the American electorate, and they want answers. They aren't buying the crap he is selling.

He's a lawyer and a businessman. From that point of view, it is entirely ethical, matter of fact, it is required, that you spin as hard as it takes to sell your product.
