(100,038 posts)In light of the obvious and verified outsourcing, Romney is also treading on thin ice when it comes to his "We are the job creators!" The Republicans should give close attention to venture capitalist Nick Hanhauer's brief, cogent, honest and compelling speech [all over the web] which shows that there are no job creators and that the American people have been lied to for over 4 decades that the big corporations are the job creators. In reality the only job creator is the middle class operating through the old familiar supply-demand feedback loop. The last thing a corporation wants to do is hire people. With these facts, there is no valid argument not to tax the corporations and the mega-wealthy and cancel all federal subsidies. I think if the Dems somehow incorporate Mr. Hanhauer's concept into their ads, Romney will self-destruct.

The Wielding Truth
(11,411 posts)corporate propaganda can't be sold to all the people all the time. Big lies must not be accepted just because they are perpetuated in the media. Please post this with a link as an original post. Everyone show be talking about the appearance of this mirror on the truth.

(19 posts)Thankyou. It's good to be here. Just want to say that the entire conservative mindset of anti-intellectualism, anti-education, racism, requirement of fundamentalist Christianity as a litmus test to be a citizen, their fear and ignorance of progress and their basic corruption all remind me of Xerxes trying to hold back and punish the sea with chains. The day after the election in 2008 every Republican woke up screaming: "OMG There's a black man in the White House!" Thus the T-Party was born. The Democratic Party will defeat this antiquated and dying breed.
