Mitt Romney, Ann Romney, and an estimated thousand or so other Romneys have been photographed on another boat cruising New Hampshires Lake Winnipesaukee. Ten questions immediately spring to mind.
10. Why are the children the only ones wearing life preservers?

6. The redhead kid in the center of the boat doesnt give a shit about being on this boat. We admire that quality in him.
5. That wasnt a question, but this is: what do you think hes thinking about/looking at, if not the lake?
4. Does the redheaded kids life preserver appear to be a different color from the standard Romney family BODYGLOVE-make life preservers?
3. Did Romney name his boat NH 6040 BL?

(17,064 posts)1) Adults arent usually required to wear life jackets, however there must be life jackets available for them. Varies by state law, I dont know what NH requires.
2) The NH number on the bow is the state registration number, NH = New Hampshire.
3) The boat appears to be a "bowrider" style. There is a wrap-around seat in the bow, not a deck. Perfectly OK to ride there when underway.
Comment) There does appear to be a greater number of people aboard than is prudent, or even possibly legal. I count 11 just on the photo, possibly several more sitting in the stern? Thats 15 , maybe more, aboard what appears to be about a 26' boat. Probably too many.
Comment 2) It appears the boat is operating too fast too close to shore? I assume the photo was shot through a telephoto lens, and the distance is foreshortened...
