I found DU in 2008...

Right after McCain announced Palin as VP running mate. I couldn't believe it and was googleing the crap out of her name to try and find something about her. Lo and behold I find DU; and I've been a daily reader ever since (post every now and then, but I've been bitten pretty hard).

Anywho... I just can't help but reminisce about how similar I find the nomination of Palin and Baingate. The biggest difference this time is I don't see my dumbass redneck friends trying to defend Romney and Bain like they rallied behind Palin (it's not like Bain gave birth to a special needs child). Can't wait to watch this asshole try and defend himself tonight. Can't imagine what he is going to say after everything I have read today. Popcorn will be ready.

Frankly, his desperation move to get some network interviews today to squelch this, is like trying to pee on a wildfire in an 80 mph dry wind.... drip. drip. drip.

will be made on Rommey's campaign. I am sure there are some very interesting conversations among the Romney people.

I have my popcorn at my side at all times....

No matter what he says tonight, he's not going to escape the bad smell clinging to him over his either lying or breaking the law seriously enough to be facing time at Club Fed.

There is nothing even remotely attractive about Bain Capital to much of anybody, unlike Palin who was "hawt," at least as long as she kept her mouth shut. Even teabaggers and fundies know that the company was skating along the edge of illegality while it threw them or people they knew out of work, looted their pensions, and hoarded the profit without using it for good in the world. There is nothing remotely attractive about a man who is so unimaginably rich that he's got hundreds of millions of dollars stashed that he's forgotten about, what he's trying to tell us about those offshore accounts.

The 99%ers who were on the fence politically while realizing that they'd gotten screwed by bankers aren't on the fence any longer, they've jumped off and away from the Romney side.

The real drama isn't going to be his attempt at obfuscation tonight. The real drama is going to be at the convention, where a lot of people realize just how flawed a candidate this man is and start to see Paul as a viable alternative.

6. Warpy, do you think the Cory Booker defense of Bain was his door to spilling the goods on Mitt?

Now Booker is writing the party platform. Perhaps his thinking changed.
