Back in the days of DU-1, someone ran a poll to see who would be the DEMOCRATIC Underground's favorite politician. One might expect that politician to have been a Democrat but that guess would be wrong. Senator Bernie Sanders won our votes, (and hearts), in a comfortable landslide.

They bled this country dry and now are jumping ship like rats.

people have been taught to think that capital is just after profits, and we think profits are dependent on a thriving consumer economy.

it's not the case. they can create profits out of air (as they are now) while the consumer economy is in the toilet. they can forgo profits and drive smaller competitors out of business.

That means they can no longer call themselves an American Company and can't use US courts for their contracts and patents.
