RNC chairman: Obama will ‘put an end to our way of life’

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/07/08/rnc-chairman-obama-will-put-an-end-to-our-way-of-life/

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus on Sunday suggested that President Barack Obama would destroy “our way of life in America,” and “Mitt Romney has to win for liberty and freedom.”

During an interview on Fox News, host John Roberts asked Priebus if Romney could win by attacking Obama on the slow economic recovery and poor job creation in the U.S.

“It’s an issue that we have to win on,” the RNC chairman explained. “The fact is that it’s not a question of can Mitt Romney win, the question is — the statement is Mitt Romney has to win for the sake of the very idea of America. Mitt Romney has to win for liberty and freedom.”

“And we have to put an end to this Barack Obama presidency before it puts an end to our way of life in America.”

But I think the spirit of it - that the Dems in general want to do the proper thing (which is not what the right wants) is pretty much our only hope - only game in town- at this juncture.

Believe me - I am a pretty hard critic of Obama - he has not nearly done what I wish he would do. But....what is the alternative?

They're attacking Obama for fairy tale reasons because they know Rmoney can't beat him on real issues.

It's a lot of hyper melodrama garbage.

His "way of life" needs to be ended right effing now. Some of us are a little disappointed that Obama hasn't put an end to it before now but that's why he needs to be re-elected.

which it is, imo, then one can only hope this actually does happen. Their "way of life" is an anathema to "liberty and freedom" for all but the 1%.

We will see one of two things.

1.) they will remain batshit crazy, doing what they normally do.

2.) they will clean up their act.

Which one do you think?

If Obama is some kind of anti-American bogeyman then they have an excuse for opposing everything he's tried to do. To believe that nonsense you have to conveniently forget the fact that Obama wants to compromise on just about everything and proposes conservative ideas. You also have to ignore the fact that Obama has not taken away liberty or freedom in 3 1/2 years as POTUS. Repugs are even claiming he had free reign to do whatever he wanted in the first two years of his term. What has he been waiting for? Someone hell-bent on destroying the American way of life doesn't wait for a second term. Of course the Faux News sheeple don't think...they just react.

"Liberty" and "Freedom" are synonyms. It's like me saying I want to buy an automobile and car. Why they keep repeating this nonsense is beyond me.

One day they will get that "big" word "synonym".
