(4,876 posts)and he was talking about Halliburton being at fault for the gulf oil spill and the deaths of the 11 workers.

(4,552 posts)only perhaps one day to be attacked/invaded by other nuclear-capable countries? You'd think Iran is ignoring what happened to Iraq and Saddam.

(4,876 posts)It's about everything. Basically from watching the whole video and reading between the lines, Halliburton is circumventing laws and using loopholes to do business with terrorist supporting states.
The worst part of this whole video is the fact that they are even having this discussion. They are asking if businesses can be trusted to stop doing business with Iran on their own or if a law is going to have to be passed.
Anyone who thinks that a business like Halliburton can be trusted to do the right thing instead of the profitable thing is out of their fucking minds.

The symbiotic relationship between Congress and the Military Industrial Complex knows no bounds.
- Iran with atomic weapons = greater threat
Greater threat = high defense spending
High defense spending = Quid Pro Quo for Congress
The first response by the Republicans will be a call for more aircraft carriers, more bombers, more tanks, more, more, more
