In my opinion, Romney's trip to Israel will have little influence on "the Jewish vote." The majority of American Jews are democrats. Those who are not are those who already vote republican and Orthodox Jews. In fact, many will see it as pandering. Any commentary that this is going to put the votes of Jews in play is BS. This trip is about the evangelical end-timers Armageddon vote. It is simple as that.

(21,925 posts)Their friendship goes back to 1976 when they both worked for Boston Consulting Group. And at Bain Capital, Romney worked with Netanyahu's second wife. Romney has virtually admitted that if elected, he will be Netanyahu's lap dog.
