9. Palin seems to be getting a lot more press here on DU than anywhere else.

Even most Republicans are tired of her. I know, I live in an area that is overwhelmingly GOP, most of them don't like her and aren't interested in anything she has to say anymore. These guys watch Fox News all the time but there are sometimes audible groans when she shows up there.

If she were actually a good speaker, clever, funny or intelligent and wrote good or provocative articles for newspapers or magazines, she might be able to find a nice niche as a right wing commentator.

But she's none of those things. She sucks at speaking, she's not intelligent, even her voice is whiny and unpleasant. She's mean and petty and communicates mostly through Facebook, like the dumber part of America.

Reality TV really is just about right for her lack of talents, it's both telling and fitting that that is where she settled in right after her political career.

Even her vaunted looks (and I will give her that she's an attractive person, but that's about it, really) are fading fast so she'll soon even lose a good chunk of the small knuckle dragging faction that are into her because of that.

I don't think she'll be a particularly welcome presence on the campaign trail this election season and I suspect she will disappear entirely off the public radar very soon thereafter, and I for one welcome that.

I'm already glad we see as little of her as we do anymore, ever since she made it clear she wasn't (ever) going to run.

They really have no one even close to Obama's intelligence. I was at my Repuke brothers house taking care of it while he and his family were gone. When he returned, we started talking about politics. He says, "Fuck the Poor". I say "Fuck the Rich". Of course, he has money. He was selling real estate for about 20 years. He was there when the prices were really high. He made a shitload of money.

Now he has medical problems with his 2 kids. Lucky for him the pre-existing conditions clause will save his ass. I also told him when he gets his rebate check to give it to me. He said he won't get a rebate. We shall see. I will ask his wife when they start handing them out to see if they got one. He thinks Obama is scum. I told him "You're just jealous because Obama accomplished more than he ever will.

Of course he tells me that's not true.

He also doesn't like the idea of a Black man in office either.

I do apologize for what I am sure is not a nice thing to call a woman, but since I consider her not quite a human woman I have to stick with that. I have a vagina ,and I would rather have nothing in common with that not quite a human woman.
