Report: Fox News Hit With Racial Discrimination Lawsuit

....The suit, brought by former payroll employees Tichaona Brown and Tabrese Wright, claims the women were subject to racial harassment and discrimination by former company comptroller Judith Slater. ....

Slater, who is white and has worked at Fox for 19 years, was accused of asking one African-American employee if all three of her children were fathered by the same man, according to an individual familiar with the matter. She also referred to African American women as “sista” and stereotyped African-American employees’ speech, openly complaining that they mispronounced words, the individual said. ....

Calls For Bill O’Reilly to Be Fired Intensify After Maxine Waters Comment

The talk of firing came from everyone from famed Hollywood producers… …to established hosts from other cable news channels… ....to everyday people...

This one isn’t surprising, but it’s getting traction nonetheless: Scott Dworkin “Fire the shit out of this smug & racist asshole.” https://twitter.com/i/moments/846756490459430913

1. What "slur" did Bill O'Fuckface use? I'm not seeing one.

If anything this is one of his more innocent barbs. He should've been fired when he talked about how ending the "white establishment" is abhorrent, or when he provided statistics so he could armchair that blacks and immigrants are prone to criminality.

I'm not an anti-pc person, but the whole thing sorta seems stupid to me. This and the leggings thing... it's like you guys are living in 2015 again and don't realize we have Nazis advising the president and a cabinet filled with "if it's a legitimate rape" Todd Akin-types.

If you disagree then offer a counterpoint instead of shutting the dialogue down from the get go. It's like you don't want to have general discussion on a forum called "General Discussion"

6. I think you don't understand what that word means, or when it's appropriate to use.

I really don't want to suffer people fueling right-wing talking points on this website, but here you are.

Critiquing reaction isn't the same as an opposing reaction.

Such as the left's inability to articulate their outrage or engage in meaningful dialogue with people who don't understand it. Opting to shut the conversation down with all sorts of "ists" than actually try to reach out to people. Which leads to the misconceptions of a liberal "mob mentality" and affinity towards "thought policing".

No matter how you slice it responses like yours are used as anecdotal evidence to broadly paint progressivism as an ideology aligned against free speech, which is a key fallacy that played a part in this election cycle and created the "anti-pc" pushback. The lower echelons staffed by folks who simply don't understand and have not faced people on our side attempting to help them understand.
Our outrage has been consolidated and simplified by social media and amplified by echo chambers therein.

And I really don't want to lose another election because people were being mean to ignorant racists on Facebook.

Facebook."

Yeah, that really sums up all our problems with elections. NOT.

I see you've had several hidden posts in the less than a month you've been here. Perhaps that is why you are so upset about things being PC around here.

Not sure why I gave you the benefit of the doubt and engaged to begin with.

11. You didn't engage, except in personal attacks. You don't know me, and who I am doesn't matter

But if you think not more than 80k people this election were influenced by right-wing propaganda then you should wake up. Dismantling the cogs, one at a time, is a must, and that includes restoring a modicum of decorum and yet again becoming the party of meeting emotion with poignant and articulate communication and facts.

For instance, this awesome ass-whooping of Tucker Carlson wouldn't have been effective if the woman who delivered it had said "fuck off racist, why do I even bother talking to you" instead of coming carefully prepared with effective demeanor and factual evidence.
