I am thinking that Donald Trump will be at 34 percent job approval tomorrow.

Last edited Tue Mar 28, 2017, 02:30 PM - Edit history (1)

Today's Gallup numbers are being inflated by higher numbers from Friday's polling. When those numbers are gone from the equation he will likely drop further.

I don't think he'll stay there too long. But I think that hitting these very low numbers says something about how hard it will be to fully rebound.

And on edit at 11:44 PM on Monday night: I will predict 59 percent disapproval.

On edit at 2:27 PM on Tuesday afternoon: It looks like I was wrong. He is at 36 percent approval, 56 percent disapproval.

Still...those are pretty atrocious numbers. It looks like the high 30s may wind up becoming the new normal for Trump for the foreseeable future.

OK so he is at 36 percent approval, 56 percent disapproval. He may wind up settling in the high 30s. StevieM Mar 2017 #12

There's no doubt in my mind Trump is capable of carrying out
a MIHOP just to get his ratings up. It worked for Dumbya.

It seems like some voters will always like him. What crime could he commit that would cause them to change their minds?
