Chris Matthews is saying Tillerson trip to Russia is bizarre AT BEST. I think it shows Putin is

controlling our government. Seriously, our SECRETARY OF STATE SKIPS A NATO MEETING TO RUN TO RUSSIA *WHILE* THE FBI IS SAYING OUR PRES AND CO ARE BEING INVESTIGATED FOR POSSIBLE COLLUSION WITH THE RUSSIANS. This is so surreal I'm at a loss for words. Honestly, how can anyone think this is okay? I think it is pretty obvious that Putin has some major dirt on both Tillerson and Trump. God only knows. But this is just a fucking embarrassing at this point. The Trump voters are always SO worried about patriotism but it's okay for our gov officials to be on Putin's leash?!!! Could you imagine if leaks came out re:Clinton administration colluding/running to China (just one possible example -- Russia or China), etc the republicans would have been concerned about who *leaked* the info?!

I am very glad that Matthews is discussing this tonight as it is getting buried a bit in the Gorsuch coverage (there were people on here admiring Gorsuch -- he seems SO INCREDIBLY INSINCERE! I don't get the admiration at all. He seems rehearsed and very fake and quite patronizing (if he looks "angry" when responding to Trump's comments he thinks everyone will believe him)).

This Tillerson issue is fucking insane.

what he has on Tillerson and Trump. And the lack of outrage about this is scary -- the Repubs and Trumpers are just whistling along as though nothing is happening.

WHO has that 19.5% ownership in Rosneft that the "dossier" says was to be payoff to person(s) unspecified for getting U.S. sanctions on Russia lifted? It'll be worth many, many billions when Russian oil starts selling again. Bet every ally we have is joining our intel services in looking to see where it is and ends up.

The FBI should not allow him to leave the country-at least don't let him go to Russia. Like someone else said, he is going to meet his boss.

He is going to work with the Russian government on removing sanctions so that his company can have access to their oil rights.

Nothing bizarre about that, just corrupt and treasonous.
