The Complicated Relevance of Dr. Seuss's Political Cartoons

Stumbled across this on Facebook. The Atlantic ran an article about the US rejecting Jewish refugees from Germany during WWII, as seen through the eyes Theodore Geisel. AKA Dr. Seuss. And the slogan that was used to justify it, 'America First". The article is well worth a browse.

Trump has to know the backstory of 'America First'.
