Who will investigate tRump/Russia?

The Senate and House investigation wings are headed by former tRump campaigners.
We can't trust the DOJ and Comey's FBI is questionable based on this last election (Hillary emails).

Will we ever get a fair hearing?
Is it possible that so much will be uncovered in initial Congressional investigation that it will force Congress to refer to an independent prosecutorial committee?

Republicans who are not owned by or afraid of the Trump-Russia coalition.

Our most potent ally, at least for now, is our free press. But the darkness of ignorance, disinformation, outright lies, and blindness is working overtime to put out this remaining light of reason.

When that happens, we become just one more failed state in the ashbin of history.

Russia and ignorance (along with greed and hatred) are winning a war with the United States, and they are doing it without firing a single shot.

This is what happens to democracy, when too many people become addicted to entertainment and illusions and no longer engage in scientific method or critical thinking.

Democracy is a system where citizens govern themselves. To do this, they must educate themselves and know what democracy is all about. How can they govern themselves when they scorn intelligence, reason, and genuine expertise?

Idiots want to be led by idiots. They resent knowledgeable people, experienced people, genuine experts.

The election of 2016 was a clear example of people who couldn't tell friends from enemies or truth from falsehood.

It deserves one big Darwin award. Many are starting to wake up, but it may be too little and too late, as in the case of the Wisconsin resistance to the Walker takeover.
