"20 Diversion Tactics Highly Manipulative Narcissists, Sociopaths & Psychopaths Use To Silence You"

fascinating article informing us of many ways we are manipulated and conned by people - whether it is the malignant trump or family members or loved ones. Could explain why some people make us so uncomfortable but we are not quite sure why

... sometimes I'll call-out this person on his/her behavior. Sometimes by just repeating (out loud) what they just said is enough to make them realize how STUPID and UNFAIR and UNREALISTIC they are being.

But sometimes that's not sucessful, it's hit or miss. There are times when s/he will double-down and insist that by my having the nerve to question them is akin to "mocking" them and being disrespectful of their "true feelings". Arg, it's infuriating ... I just have to walk away.

People like that do not live in the real world. The writer describes "blameshifting" behavior perfectly.
