..much like every other president (although I expect Trump's contribution to it will be limited to predictable points of praise for himself).

I read Pres. Obama's speech writer's account of how he'd work the president's ideas into an address, and how involved the POTUS was in the process. We'll likely see nothing of the sort.

That's not to say that it won't contain the same inanity that Trump likes to parrot and invent. The entire Trump entourage reasons and expresses themselves like klansmen, so whatever they produce for him (and gets his approval) will have the same stench.
