Four weeks to get a Canadian Visa... lost a valuable sub contractor... How does this help America?

That's all it took to get a visa for the family of one of our major sub contractors who had his own business, kids, worked with him many years, but his wife is undocumented apparently (had no idea)... So there's one small very profitable business which employed people, gone and we are in the lurch, employees are out of work. it's pretty damn sad.

How is losing a small business which ripples up to the people hiring him, making america great again?? There will be thousands if not tens of thousands of these stories, we're just one.... Doctors can't get in to train and stay on to specialize, we can't enroll enough doctors, taking out small businesses, people aren't going to want to travel here, we've already seen that, exactly how does any of this help the economy? How does it help the very freaking people who voted for this chump? Someone please tell me. I can't hold it against him, he has a wife and kids to worry about, but I can damn well hold the Republican party responsible for terrorizing people. Oh and Canada gets the benefit of his work now, they are more than happy to have him, thus the quick turn around for the visa.

This is just unbelievable, it's real life with real unintended consequences.... I'm worried about posting this, but this is what it looks like.

Hubris goes before the fall. Also, the bigger you are, the harder you fall. It will be glorious to watch, but for the unbelievable damage & suffering they will inflict on their way down.

people can go straight to hell which is where they belong. Right now I am a mix of anger, concern and more concern.... Economically this affects every area of our economy. How do people NOT see this? I'm baffled and sick to my stomach with a massive god damn headache, oh and I'm worried because I see the end of the tunnel and it's not pretty.

Normally I would say that societies go through cycles & eventually we'll come out of this, but with climate change looming, I'm not sure we have the time. And today, I read an article about Bill Gates talking about bio-terrorism. And we have a party in control that wants to do away with health care. That doesn't even make sense. Why wouldn't you want your neighbors & fellow citizens that you share the public space with, to be as healthy as possible? Their greed makes them short sighted to everything except their wallet. We are so fucked. The light at the end of the tunnel is a train.
