WH Chief of Staff says he KNOWS what FBI told Congress about probe of WH officials

Last edited Wed Feb 22, 2017, 09:23 AM - Edit history (1)

...so the subjects of the investigation have knowledge of details about the FBI investigation into their activities?

Unless I'm missing something, Reince Priebus is admitting to a subversion of justice, a serious abuse of power and authority by the White House and the FBI.

Lot of interactions between Trump White House and FBI for an ongoing investigation that could involve Trump White House:

...of course he could be lying.

Repubs on Senate Intel Committee starting to come around due to public pressure and more and more drip drip drip - Flynn scandal really brought it to the forefront, and Wyden is insisting on open hearings, subpoena power.

TruTrump White House Senior Staff Have Private RNC Email Accounts

Senior Trump administration staffers, including Kellyanne Conway, Jared Kushner, Sean Spicer and Steve Bannon, had until Wednesday active accounts on a Republican National Committee (RNC) email system, Newsweek has learned.

The system (rnchq.org) is the same one the George W. Bush administration was accused of using to evade transparency rules after claiming to have “lost” 22 million emails.

The controversial system was involved in the loss of some of 22 million emails—many from around the time of the lead-up to and the first months of the Iraq War. Private lawsuits eventually forced the Obama administration to find Bush’s lost emails. They have since been turned over the National Archives, but remain under national security shield and have not been made available to the public.

Trump staffers using app that deletes their messages

Trump administration staffers are reportedly communicating by using an encrypted messaging app that erases messages shortly after they have been received.

The Washington Post reported on Tuesday that officials were using the app, called Confide, to avoid being caught talking to the media, as President Trump moves to crack down on leaks.

The Post report followed a report from Axios last week that reported Confide had become a favorite app for Republican staffers.

Staffers may also be concerned about being hacked after high-profile cyber attacks on Democratic groups during the election.

"We do see a spike in across the board metrics when there is a major news cycle about the vulnerability of digital communications," Jon Brod, Confide’s president, told Axios.

The reports raise questions though about the possible violation of federal records keeping laws that require certain government employees to use their official email address for communications.
