Dusty And Annie... He's 86, She's 88...

And a few week ago... Annie fell... doing yardwork... and fractured her hip...

She's back home now...

And this is the third day of her trying out her walker... which works, but it's still painful...

Now Dusty... went and bought his own walker... and I wasn't sure why...

And I'm out front watching the cat follow Annie dutifully down the driveway...

And Dusty has just figured out that he can sit in the walker back-wards, and because the driveway has a downhill slope, and because his new-fangled walker has brakes... he can get down to the mailbox backwards... he barely moves othewise...

And he goes... growing a brand new beard...and STILL showing off to his soulmate.

Annie currently has a big assed smile.

Sigh...

4. Here's another one, what this story remind me of:

My kid and I used to sing this song going down lonely, winding and dusty roads. And yeah, we cried sometimes.
